Well the summer is coming to an end and our young people are getting ready to go back to school and mums and dads are getting excited.

This summer, Our Sale West are proud to have supported various projects for young people in the area, including:

Short Story Lady- came and told us all about the antics of the Ten Little Pirates, we had a Rumble in the Jungle, we found out What the Ladybird Heard and the final story was all about The Rainbow Fish.

The Munch Club- was well attended and there were fun and games for all who came to the Community Centre, along with a variety of trips out. There were tasty snacks, drinks and lunch each day.

Summer of Sport –provided a variety of activities including sports, crafts, dance etc. along with trips out to local attractions. The young people had breakfast and lunch provided Monday-Friday, as well as drinks and snacks during the day.

Thanks go to the team in the Sunshine Café for providing an assortment of food every day.

These events could not have taken place without the National Lottery funding we received back in 2015 plus funding from Trafford and Trafford Housing Trust. Our aim is to benefit those living in our area, whether going on our coach trips, doing Pilates, Ballroom Dancing or attending Strictly Lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
