Our Sale West hosted residents, community groups and partners at Sale West Community Centre to celebrate the launch of Trafford’s first Live Well centres, marking a major milestone in the borough’s journey to make everyday support more accessible in every neighbourhood.

The two venues, run by BlueSci, and Our Sale West, were selected as part of the new Sale Live Well Centre Campus by members of the community, in recognition of the excellent services they already deliver.

Our Live Well Centre approach will grow over time in Sale, expanding to provide holistic, wrap around services designed to help people feel healthier, happier and more connected.

Trafford Live Well sits within the Greater Manchester Strategy’s ambition for great everyday support in every neighbourhood. Spearheaded by the GM Mayor Andy Burnham, it aims for public services to be working with communities rather than simple for them. At the heart of Live Well is a commitment to prevention and early help, reducing inequalities, and building on the strengths of local people, organisations and voluntary groups.
